What do I wear?
We are so glad that you are considering visiting Great Lakes Bible! Come in and make yourself at home! You are welcome to sit wherever you’d like – there are no reserved seats. First-time guests are never singled out or embarrassed. If you’d like, you can fill out a visitor information card from your welcome gift package. We are a congregation of different backgrounds, ages, and personalities. As such, our people dress in various styles – from casual (jeans & polo) to business casual (dresses or sports coats). Whatever you choose to wear as you worship with us, you will be welcomed and will not feel out of place.
How long does it last?
Our Sunday morning worship lasts approximately 90 minutes – from 10:30am to 12:00pm. Of course, you are also invited to attend our Bible Study time (some may know this as “Sunday School”) that runs from 9:30-10:10am. There is a Bible lesson for teens and adults, and a children’s choir for elementary aged kids.
What goes on in the service?
We endeavor to keep God and His word central in our worship. Our church services feature Scripture readings, reading of Bible truths, prayers, singing, and a message from God’s Word. We really enjoy worshiping our God through lots of great music – from the great hymns of the faith to the best of today’s praise and worship music – you will love singing with other believers. The focal point of the service comes when our pastor opens God’s Word and brings a message from the Bible. The sermon exercises both the mind and heart with practical teaching that glorifies God and is applicable to our every day life.
Is childcare provided?
Childcare and children’s church are provided in all of our services for infants, toddlers, and children up to 6th grade. Your child will receive not only excellent supervision, but a lesson from the Bible and singing. Nursery is provided for all services.
